Eli Awada is a fourth-year journalism student at the University of Minnesota with a passion for community-based reporting. While he has produced work within a variety of beats, he tends to gravitate toward stories involving arts and culture. Along with his work as a student journalist, he is an on-air DJ at Radio K, a freelance talent booker and a keyboardist performing in a few local bands.
