Jessy is a fourth-year student majoring in journalism and global studies. Last fall, she interned as a general assignment reporter for features at the Star Tribune. She has a passion for studying human rights, which led her to an internship at an immigration shelter in Ecuador during the fall of 2022. She aspires to be a social issues reporter. When she’s not frantically typing on her laptop, Jessy can be found singing karaoke with friends, talking smack during card games and tripping over her own feet while salsa dancing.
